We would like to introduce our newest team member and realtor, Vicki Samuelson. Vicki Samuelson obtained her real estate license this year and decided to join The Steve Ritter Team! We are so happy to have her on our team, and to share our knowledge and experiences with her. We want you to get to know Vicki so we had her answer some questions about herself and her experience. Take a look!

What is your favorite part about being a realtor so far?

My favorite part about being a realtor is being able to help people, and making this process simpler and more fun for them. I love to see their joy and happiness when they find what they’re looking for. This process can take time and I don’t want my clients to ever feel like they need to buy just to buy. I want them to take their time and purchase the property that they truly want and see themselves happy in.

Why did you decide to join the steve ritter team?

The Steve Ritter team is a great group of professionals that have over 18 years experience. I would guess they have probably experienced a lot of unique situations and I feel like I can definitely learn from their wealth of experience. Plus they are crazy fun to work with! At this point in my life, I want to enjoy my job and the people I work with. The Steve Ritter Team definitely makes my job fun. We have lots of laughs and get along great.

What previous experience/skills do you have that sets you apart from every other real estate agent?

I think that I have a unique set of people skills. I am a talker for sure, but am also a very good listener. I think you have to really listen so that you can find out what is truly important to your clients. I genuinely like people and hearing their stories.

What states/areas will you service?

The really nice aspect about being apart of a team is that you are able to help people in many areas. My primary locations will be Delaware and Chester Counties in Pennsylvania. Prior to moving to PA, I lived in New Jersey for 24 years. I know that area especially well, but am currently only licensed in PA. I am definitely a Pennsylvania girl, born and raised! The great part about being on a team is that Steve is licensed in New Jersey so he can help our New Jersey clients!

Will you be working with buyers/sellers/renters or all 3?

I would love to work with all types of clients: buyers, sellers, and renters.

What was your career path before real estate, and why did you decide to switch?

I have worked in numerous diverse settings, and have a wide spectrum of experience from communication, sales, account development, training, and recruiting to multi-million dollar budgets, and department management. I have happily been apart of charity work and/or team events for 30+ years for many many organizations and foundations. My husband and I have gone through the whole relocation, building, and rebuilding stages at various points in our lives together. I understand the whole process, along with the stress and fun that goes along with it. My family and I have also gone through the relocation process and know the stress you and your family may feel to get all of the pieces in place. I believe I have a wealth of experience that I can pull from to help others, whether it’s about relocating, building, buying, or selling. I truly enjoy helping others find their next chapter, and trying to make that journey and transition as smooth as possible.

What do you like to do when you’re not working?

When I am not working, I like to spend time with my family and friends. Family is very important to my husband, Kjell, and I. We love visiting with family and attending out children’s sporting events, especially hockey and soccer. I enjoy spending time outdoors, going to the beach, or hiking on a trail. Sometimes I get a creative moment and will do arts and crafts. The most important thing to me is being able to enjoy my day and having a good laugh.
